Responsible Sourcing Specialist at Glencore

• The incumbent in the role is responsible for assisting and supporting the development and implementation of the Responsible Sourcing Standardsto ensure sustainability and management of Responsible Sourcing risks, value creation and conduct supply chain due diligence. The execution of the responsibilities of this role must be undertaken in line with the Glencore Values and Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting responsible sourcing supply chain due diligence on new and existing suppliers including human rights, modern slavery, and environmental perspectives.
• Compiling and analysing mandatory supplier documentation, such as transaction forms and questionnaires,
• Training affected employees and suppliers on all the requirements of the responsible sourcing standard,
• Proactively identify red flags / material risks, document and implement controls to address such red flags / material risks in the supply chain in accordance with the responsible sourcing standard,
• Produce regular reports on key Responsible Sourcing standard KPIs,
• Work with and assist the supply team on various Responsible Sourcing projects and enquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification (Finance/Procurement/Supply Chain).

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain (responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, compliance, or KYC).
