We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clients restaurants based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of restaurant management, including stock control, staff management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a busy restaurant environment, including full-house restaurants and large events.
Key Responsibilities:
Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of service.
Stock Control: Conduct regular stock takes and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Staff Management: Manage staff shifts, schedules, and performance, ensuring adequate staffing levels and excellent customer service.
Customer Service: Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Event Management: Coordinate and manage large events, including weddings and corporate functions, for up to 500 guests.
Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including stock control, staff management, and customer service.
Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Availability: Available to work a 6-day week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
