Retail Finance Manager - JHB at Pollock & Associates

Essential Requirements

• BCom Degree
• Minimum 6 years of financial management experience in the retail sector
• Sage Pastel experience and preferably Omnix/Netterm system experience
   

Key Result Areas:

• Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and variance.
• Budget preparation, management and reporting – sales, gross margins and overheads
• Cash-flow requirement planning – daily/monthly.
• Overseeing the debtors, creditors and cashbook functions.
• Factory loading/sales orders – managing integrity and validity of orders.
• Responsible for shipping, both inward and outward.
• Implementation of financial systems and ensure that the financial controls are intact.
• Omnix/Netterm – enhancing systems and controls and maintaining system integrity.
• Ongoing review of costing policies due to continually changing circumstances.
• Asset management – specifically working capital.
• Stock control – actively manage to ensure all stock is current.
