Retail SAP Master Data Administrator at AVI Limited

Job Specification:

Key Performance Areas:

Master Data Management (Retail article and Vendor)

• Accurate maintenance of Retail Article Master and Vendor Master data in SAP in accordance with the prescribed convention and internal procedures, considering article master interfaces i.e. websites, POS
• Create Base Merchandise Categories (Liaise with IT around this process)
• Co-ordinate new site creation process with IT and Finance
• Running Mass Change Transactions for the Business and LSMW’s where relevant
• Escalate issues to IT department as necessary and appropriate
• Ensures confidentiality and protection of sensitive reports or information
• Monthly data integrity checks to ensure 100% data integrity and uniformity and to verify the accuracy, completeness and consistency of master data including supporting documentation before it is loaded in SAP
• To provide monthly Diagnostic reporting on Retail Article and Vendor Master
• Advise and train users on the policies and procedures of Master data to ensure and facilitate compliance
• Timeous maintenance of article master list prices to ensure accuracy for true sales performance to be measured
• Bank code requests for all new vendor submissions
• Accurate maintenance and management of master data workflow system to enhance the speed of new requests and requests for changes for retail articles and vendors
• Assist with any ad hoc tasks, initiatives or projects related to the management and improvement of master data
• Provides requested documents to auditors
• Magento article categorisation and manage minimum stock cut offs 

Monitor key interfaces between POS and SAP

• Daily monitoring of key Interfaces between POS & SAP
• Liaise and communicate with IT and PBS

The following interfaces need to be monitored daily:

• Sales
• Debtors Transactions
• Goods Movements
• Reconcile BI Sales with SAP Sales 

Access Request administration for Footwear and Apparel through the SAP GRC platform

• Own the GRC process and create workflows where relevant
• Follow up with Authorisations team to ensure workflows are actioned timeously
• Assist the Retail Business Analyst and Finance Managers with the annual GRC and SAP access review 

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:                                                                   

• At least 3 years’ experience in SAP Master Data
• At least 2 years’ experience in the retail industry
• Experience in SAP GRC Access Management 

Qualifications:

• Minimum a completed Matric/Grade 12
• A National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field of study would be highly advantageous 

Additional Requirements:

• Excel Proficiency
• SAP knowledge and hands on experience with a good understanding of the SAP retail article and vendor master, functionality and data requirements
• Working knowledge of SAP GRC specifically related to access control
• Understand a POS system and the data flow between the POS and SAP
