Rigger (2 Years FTC) - Mining Maintenance - Underground Crushing & Conveying Lift II at Palabora Copper (Pty) Limited

 Key responsibilities will include:

• Inspection of plant equipment.
• Maintenance and inspection of all rigging and lifting and equipment of the plant.
• Maintenance and repairs on conveying systems, structures, chutes 7 bins and pipes.
• Ensuring spares availability.
• Overseeing, assisting, and supporting maintenance jobs of all subordinate maintainers.
• Planning, reviewing, and executing task as per planned and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Liaising with operational staff to plan and execute planned and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Conducting root cause analysis on equipment.
• Assisting in the training and development of Apprentices.
• Seeking and identifying business improvement initiatives.
• Performing ad hoc duties as required.
• Performing overtime and standby duties when required.

 Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Rigger.
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Minimum of three years’ rigging as a qualified experience.
• Exposure in mining maintenance environment.
• Crushing and conveying experience.
