    Risk Advisory – Energy Resources & Industrials – Senior Leadership Role

    Job Description
    Main Purpose of Job

    We are on the look-out for executive talent to play a pivotal role in growing our Energy Resources and Industrials business within our Risk Advisory practice in the Johannesburg office. A priority appointment for us present, is at the recruitment of an experienced and dynamic Associate Director or Director to join the team.

    Qualifications
    Qualifications & Experience required

    Required

    Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a client service role, with at least 7 in a leadership role

    Deep mining sector experience

    Demonstrated leadership experience building a growing portfolio in the mining sector supported by a broad network of relationships in the sec

    Proven experience leveraging networks and relationships in the sector in order to drive professional services opportunities

    Demonstrated prior experience driving large scale operational/strategic risk, regulatory or technology implementation projects at a leadership level

    Prior experience in any of the following:

    •    Digital Risk Management
    •    Analytics
    •    Intelligent operations
    •    OT/ICS Cyber Security
    •    Sustainability and/or ESG
    •    Regulatory Risk
    •    Risk and Compliance
    •    GRC (Transformation)
    •    SAP (BW/S/4/HANA and related)
    •    Supply Chain Risk

    Prior experience in professional services or consulting is advantageous.

    Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Commerce. Postgraduate/Masters/PhD is advantageous

    Recognised as a subject-matter expert and leader within the local market

    Strong industry network

    • Advises executive leadership on strategies and tactics to ensure insights are consistently incorporated into strategy development
    • Leverages prior experience to build a convincing business case to influence client’s adoption of recommendations
    • Recommends new and innovative approaches to solving problems to help draw meaningful conclusions
    • Develops and educates practitioners on new and innovative methodologies in his / her respective domain
    • Promotes the spirit of ideation and innovation across engagement teams
