Job Description

• We are looking for a Senior Manager to make an impact in our team and at the clients. This role will support our service and business area leadership in the implementation of strategic plan through the effective management of teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic Impact: Support the strategy implementation of the Business Area. Lead and contribute to preparation of proposals or tenders, and presentations. Lead and participate in sales presentations and client negotiations, for new and retained business. Grow market network with key players and build long-term relationships. Client retention and client base growth.
• Client Impact: Ability to generate productive and trusting relationships with senior client management and the C-suite. Experience and exposure to large, global strategic and group clients. A Senior Manager needs to play a pivotal role in coordinating, facilitating, and resolving of issues. Contribute to thought leadership and share knowledge and expertise with clients, colleagues, and teams.
• Operational Effectiveness: Business acumen and insight which enables the Senior Manager to be an effective advisor to clients. Knowledge of global financial news, global business-related trends, and the ability to apply this to our clients’ situations. Lead or manage complex client engagements and maintain high level oversight of all engagements or projects. Provide ongoing communication on the update and status of engagements. • Development/ Growth of Team: Mentor and develop team members and counselees on an ongoing basis. Empower Managers through appropriate delegation of work. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications  

• BSC Computer Science, BSC Honours Computer Science, BSC Maths Statistics, BEng (all disciplines), BCom (Informatics preferred).  Or if direct entry proven experience in data & analytics and other relevant any qualifications (e.g. certifications in analytics technology platforms and techniques)

Desired Qualifications    

• Certifications or Advanced degrees in Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics and Analytics technology specific certifications.

Minimum Experience      

• 10 years’ relevant (Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics and Analytics technology) working experience

Desired Experience         

• 10 years relevant working experience in a client facing role; 5 of these in a management role. Business development / market making experience preferred. Or
• 10 years analytics delivery experience with subject matter expert knowledge in Data Management / Data Engineering / Data Science / Data Analytics / Analytics technology. Is recognised as an expert in their chosen domain having architected and delivered numerous complex analytics and data solutions.
