The Risk and Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the organisation through the effective design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of risk and compliance policies, processes, and automated systems. This role focuses on ensuring that operations are compliant, evidence-based, efficient, and aligned with organisational objectives within the South African healthcare context.
You will work closely with the Business Process Manager and Specialist-level colleagues to strengthen risk and compliance capability across the organisation and support operational excellence.
You will:
Design, implement, and continuously improve risk and compliance policies, processes, and systems to support efficient, compliant, and well-governed operations across the organisation.
Analyse risk and compliance outcomes, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and support service delivery through effective stakeholder collaboration and best-practice governance approaches.
Report on risk and compliance activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to ongoing professional development and organisational capability.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 7 qualification in Risk Management, Law, Health Sciences, Governance, or a related discipline, with proven experience contributing to policy, process, and systems development within a complex healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of risk and compliance systems, governance practices, and professional compliance standards aligned with the CISA GACP and professionalism frameworks.
