Roads Site Agent (Pr CM / Pr Eng) - Construction Industry
RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading construction company delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across South Africa are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee a major project in Kimberley, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all on-site activities, including planning, execution, and supervision of construction works.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Monitor project progress, costs, and resources, and report to senior management.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and relevant stakeholders.
Oversee project documentation, site records, and progress reports.
Assist with setting out and checking levels where required
Identify and report potential risks or delays
Requirements:
BTech or BEng qualification (No diplomas will be considered).
Pr CM registration with SACPCMP or Pr Eng registration with ECSA
Proven experience in one or more of the following: airport runways, taxiways, taxi lanes, aprons, highways, new roads, or major road rehabilitations.
Project experience must exceed a value of R30 million.
Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and ensure timely delivery of complex projects.
