Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated Rope Access Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Operations department, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supervising rope access teams and activities in demanding industrial environments

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate: Manage rope access personnel and activities on site efficiently.
• Ensure safety: Guarantee all rope access work is performed safely, meeting industry standards and site procedures.
• Risk assessment: Conduct risk assessments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Equipment management: Inspect and maintain rope access equipment properly.
• Quality assurance: Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to project requirements.
• Guidance and support: Provide coaching and support to rope access technicians, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
• Documentation: Complete necessary reports, permits, and documentation daily.
• Communication: Engage with site management and clients on work progress and safety matters regularly.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• Valid Rope Access Level 3 Certificate
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a power station or similar industrial environment
• Proven experience supervising rope access teams
• Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Ability to work at heights and in demanding industrial environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
