    Rota Coordinator Company NameG4S

    The main responsibility of the post holder will be to plan, coordinate and implement the practice rota for all clinical staff across the site, in a timely manner, by following protocol and ensuring all sites have adequate clinical cover, to provide a safe working environment for our staff and patients. To liaise with clinical staff and keep them informed of any changes to their rota, the post holder must be able to prioritise their workload and be able to deal with any acute changes accurately and appropriately. The post holder must be able to manage annual leave requests for all clinical staff. The post holder will be responsible for all ordering and receipting of orders.

    Key Responsibilities/accountabilities

    • Planning all clinical rotas each month
    • Be responsible for authorising clinical annual leave as per policy
    • Coordinating changes/queries to the rota
    • Communicating with all staff regarding the rota when appropriate
    • Communication with Nurse Lead regarding appointments and clinic issues
    • Communication with Senior Team and Managers with any issues affecting the rota
    • To be able to deal with on the day absences promptly and effectively
    • To keep updated with all annual leave/training dates
    • Email out to all staff regarding meeting date and ensure these are on the rota
    • Liaise with external organisations where appropriate
    • Support the team in other admin tasks when required
    • Support and guide new members of staff with the onboarding process following recruitment
    • Support recruitment/HR
    • Ensure security of data at all times


    The Ideal Candidate
    Person Specification

    • Knowledge of windows and microsoft office
    • It literate
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Problem solving skills
    • Flexible approach/team player
    • Awareness of data security requirements


    • S1 experience
    • Previous Healthcare workplace setting experience
    • Previous experience of working on clinical rotas
