Rotating Equipment Technician I at Air Liquide

• The Technician Rotating Equipment within the ALLISA organisation provides technical support to production and maintenance managers, engineers and foremen with respect to information gathering, data accumulation, basic processing and reporting.
• Apply basic ALLISA technical specifications, work procedures and work instructions in area of responsibility
• Perform tasks in accordance with basic Engineering principles and conduct basic plant troubleshooting
• Participate in failure/root cause analysis and recommend basic suggestions for improvement
• Responsible for information gathering, data accumulation, basic processing of information and reporting to Line Managers and First Line Supervisors
• Maintain reliability, integrity and availability of plant equipment
• Apply MOC knowledge and procedures and participate in punch out teams
• Ensure effective and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate and provide support in small project implementation and management
• Align to the ALLISA Safety and Health strategy to achieve zero harm, notify and take action to mitigate risks identified during project planning and execution

Educational requirements

• National Diploma in Engineering / B.Tech in Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• One (1) year practical experience in an operational environment

Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job

• Must have knowledge and understanding of the Engineering discipline principles and design
• Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of Engineering drawings interpretation
• Must have knowledge and understanding of Project Management
• Must have knowledge and understanding of SAP, CMMS and the Google suite of products
