Overview of key activities:

• Responsible for freight and producer payments.
• Reconciliation of various systems.
• Daily liaison with procurement team as well as producers.
• Ensuring producer and shipping line payment terms are being adhered to.
• Loading producer and shipping line payments on various banking platforms.
• Recording of freight and producer payments on the various systems.
• Responsible for the accounting of all the leases.
• Analysis of information for reasonability.
• Responsible for all ad hoc queries from the procurement team.
• Responsible for certain items on trial balance.
• Responsible for creating Vendors in SAP accounting system.
• Various month-end reporting responsibilities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by financial controller.

The criteria and requirements are as follows:

• B.Com or equivalent.
• Completion of articles (SAIPA / SAICA) at an accounting firm is essential.
• Preferably 2 years’ post articles experience.
• SAP experience will be highly advantageous.
