SAICA Traineeship: Audit And Assurance - July 2024 at Moore South Africa

Minimum Requirements

• You must be studying towards a SAICA accredited degree or a SAICA accredited post-graduate degree. You can find a list of SAICA accredited degrees on the SAICA website.
• Essential languages include English and Afrikaans. Basic understanding of Afrikaans is required.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Performing and executing all tasks assigned to gain the necessary exposure to obtain the skills and competencies as required by the SAICA Training Program.
• Planning, executing, and finalising audits according to the audit plan. 
• Conducting independent reviews.
• Preparation of annual financial statements for compliance with the applicable reporting standards i.e. International Financial Reporting Standards 
• Computation of corporate, trusts, and individual tax liability in terms of the Income Tax Act.
• Completion of income tax returns via SARS e-filing for companies, trusts, and individuals.
• Calculate provisional taxes for companies, trusts, and individuals.
