The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for selling our native cloud financial management solution, Sage Intacct, in collaboration with our channel. This person will work closely with the solution consulting team who will act as the product specialists during the sales cycle. Sales are nationwide and not limited to the location of the Sales Account Executive although it is advised that the incumbent is located in one of the main Sage regions within South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Build a pipeline of sales opportunities with the Sage Intacct channel across South Africa
Developing and growing the sales opportunity pipeline while improving efficiency and keeping the channel energized and motivated during this process.
Focus on generating new business – self generated sales opportunities for Sage to grow the market share.
Identify major opportunities within channel partners and co-ordinate Sage Intacct activities through pre-sales/solution consultants etc to grow our brand
On-site and virtual demonstrations of the solution in close collaboration with the channel and solution consulting team
Achieve mutually agreed upon sales quota
Manage and close Sage Intacct sales opportunities through partner account strategy, forecasting, account resource allocation and planning
Initiate joint business planning and marketing plans with partners including individual responsibility for a sales objective.
Establish a vertical / industry focus with the rest of the sales and solution consultant teams
Identify market place partners to collaborate with and build out the product offering
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Sage Intacct and keeping up to date with industry trends, technology and competitors
