    Sales Administrator

    What needs to be done?

    • Sales Support: Perform day-to-day activities required to help the team respond to enquiries and opportunities in a timely and efficient manner. Undertake desk based research to support business development and analysis in identifying new lead opportunities and allocating to relevant persons.  Follow up and respond to customers queries on behalf of team members when they are out of office. Collaborate with Marketing to create and distribute required marketing materials to better position Howden & Chart products and services throughout ROA. Contact existing and potential customers to provide product/service brochures and book product demonstrations.
    • Administration Support: Monitor incoming enquiries. Assisting in compiling and submitting of tender documents to customers in accordance with their specifications and / or requirements from respective business units. Tender register management. Provide support in accurately capturing opportunities and site visits into the CRM system, completing site visit reports on behalf of the team. Scheduling and maintaining customer visit schedule (this includes travel arrangements). Provide management information and reports, as required. Agent support with on-boarding, marketing materials and training
    • Customer Relationships: Facilitate Customer Surveys. Have a good understanding of all customer complaints that could affect current and future business, reported via NPS and assist with closing the loop. Answer customer’s questions about products and services
    • SOX Compliance: Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.

    What do you need to bring? 

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration/Sales/ Customer Service/Public Relations
    • At least 5 years sales administrative experience in an engineering/ technical environment.
    • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Must have a passion for customer service and operational excellence
    • Resourceful, self-motivated, committed and strive to meet tight deadlines.
    • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing environment.
