    Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator

    Description of Role:
    The role manages sales and brand activities, measures customer and brand performance, and monitors total investment and provides an understanding on how to improve brand and sales activities.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Understanding our customers, shoppers & categories & creating solutions that meet their wants & needs
    • Generate and analyze Key information about business, market, competitors, customers key opportunities and risks
    • To provide project management, administrative and executional support to the Sales team
    • Track, analyze and communicate sales business performance against benchmarks, KPI’s and agreed performance objectives
    • Develop the right tools and reports to support the sales team in the planning and decision making process
    • Provides Sales with the insights, tools and support materials needed to win with customers & shoppers
    • The role manages brand activities, measures brand performance, and monitors brand Creating value for our Brands, Consumers & Customers
    • Beating the competition by adding more value to the category
    • Monitoring investment and provide an understanding on how to improve brand activities

     
    Key Performance Areas:

    • Develop and deploy formats, processes and ways of working that improve and simplify sales information, execution KPI’s and trade spend controlling, tracking and analysis Daily sales report
    • Coordinate great communication process to assure the understanding and use of information by the development and deployment of best in class reports, tools and plans to guarantee on time communication and understanding
    • Monitoring and communicate competitors’ activities allowing Alpen Food Company to keep a step ahead
    • Managing the M&E of key customers activity including all aspects of promotional effectiveness, to ensure the team understand reasons for brand / activity performance
    • Customer review template
    • Manage the Qlicksense process and support to Sales team
    • Brand dashboards
    • IRI reviews
    • Identify drivers of brand & customer growth
    • Identify drivers of customer growth & understand customer category strategies
    • Own, coordinate and deliver the Brand and Customer Activity Calendar
    • Work with shopper/consumer information and know how to apply them for range and space reviews
    • Convert brand strategies into actionable commercial plans
    • Work with agencies to optimize the impact of brand plans
    • Collaborate with agencies to deliver social media plan support
    • Support with innovation project planning process
    • Support in developing brilliant execution / perfect store standards

    Duties include:

    • Manage deal periods within defined targets
    • Update customer master & price list
    • Manage the customer complaint process
    • Manage Trade Marketing recon and travel log
    • Support with packaging design and development
    • Support consumer marketing activity
    • Support on Adhoc requests by Head of Marketing and Head of Sales
    • Coordination and administration of functional team meetings, conferences, workshops etc
    • Monitor brand performance (e.g., sales, shares, distribution, etc.)
    • Track promotional calendar completion to target across all accounts
    • Distribution trackers in target segments and regions
    • Meridian weekly and monthly Dashboard
    • Monthly Sales reports
    • Trade Marketing funds tracker
    • Cycle deal tracker & promotional tracker
    • Cycle brief packs
    • Trade terms tracker
    • Key account reviews
