    Sales And Service Consultant

    Our Sales and Service consultants are client-centric problem-solvers excited about helping our clients grow and develop. They are the first line of contact for our existing and perspective clients to deliver uncompromisingly superior customer experience and consultative support through a solid understanding of financial markets, trading principles and technology. In this role you will have the opportunity to: 

     Responsibilities:

    • Develop thorough understanding of financial markets, trading principles and technology.
    • Collaborate with our customers to effectively identify their needs and communicate considerate solutions through phone, email, live chat.
    • Provide support and guidance to our clients and prospective clients.
    • Work along internal stakeholders and product owners to identify opportunities for bettering client engagement and grow client portfolios’ key metrics.
    • You will be answering incoming inquiries from customers, educating them on our product offerings and supporting them on their journeys to becoming trading customers - organizational skills will be critical.
    • You will regularly liaise with our KYC and Compliance teams to eliminate any friction during the onboarding process and to ensure that all applications are dealt with in line with the company’s processes and meet regulatory requirements. As a part of this process you may be asked to request additional documentation or information from clients.
    • Once you are familiarized with and understand our company’s sales process and techniques, you will make outbound calls to initiate a dialogue with the prospective customers.
    • You will keep accurate record of client communications you will regularly update CRM entries and record all your sales activities.
    • You will be the first point of contact for our leads that will be allocated to you daily. These leads include subscribers to one of our trading guides, demo clients, or applicants for live trading accounts.

    Requirements:

    • An above average understanding of Trading and Investing
    • Skilled negotiator with strong influencing skills; able to communicate effectively and with enthusiasm
    • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about ongoing development and steep learning curve
    •  A flair for sales and delivering best in class customer service
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the Equities, FX and CFD sector
    • Excellent English (spoken and written), Additional South African languages will be an advantage
    • Have a clear, informative and professional communication style
    • Easily adaptable to changing priorities with passion for creative problem-solving
    • Matric – Compulsory.

    It would be an advantage if you have:

    • Experience in the financial markets and selling/supporting/trading Equities, CFDs, FX
    • Completed the JSE trading exam
    • Completed your RPEs or part thereof
    • FAIS Representative with CAT 1.8, 1.9 - 1.13
