    Sales Consultant FTC | Managed People Solutions | Cape Town | Southern Suburbs

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and regularly update the customer database.
    • Regularly visit existing customers within both on and off-trade venues.
    • Build and strengthen partnerships with customers to drive sales and brand loyalty.
    • Manage and execute in-store promotions, events, and tastings in various venues (including working on weekends when necessary).
    • Increase brand visibility and availability by securing prime shelf space and visibility at trade events.
    • Ensure continuous product availability in the market.
    • Ensure that all products listed in venues are integrated into the Micros or cash register systems.
    • Provide detailed feedback on trade visits, customer interactions, and market insights.
    • Report on competitors' activities and market trends.
    • Lead and implement promotional activities and initiatives aimed at increasing brand availability and sales volume across multiple outlets.
    • Ensure that On-Trade venues are effectively listed with the brand and that the brand is promoted accordingly.
    • Track and update POS (Point of Sale) materials before leaving the outlet.
    • Ensure the brand's listing and visibility are aligned across all relevant platforms.
    • Assist in the strategic planning and execution of activities in on-trade venues to enhance the customer experience and improve sales outcomes.

    Requirement and experience:

    • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in sales, with a specific focus on Alcohol and Beverage (On and Off Trade).
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and drive business growth through engagement and support.
    • Experience in managing and executing trade promotions, events, and activations.
    • Strong understanding of alcohol and beverage products, including current market trends and competitor brands.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide effective feedback and reports.
    • Familiarity with POS systems, Micros, SAP and other trade-related tracking tools.
    • Familiar with the Pick n Pay and Checkers ordering process.
    • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with a proactive approach to time management.
