Sales Consultant - Pinetown at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their businesses and providing tailored packaging solutions.
• Manage customer complaints effectively, ensuring satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.
• Proactively schedule customer visits to maintain engagement and support sales growth.
• Prepare accurate weekly sales forecasts and meet monthly and annual sales targets.
• Source new business opportunities and drive sales growth in alignment with company strategy.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, ensuring product availability and pricing accuracy.
• Manage price increases and maintain updated price tables.
• Conduct customer surveys and manage engagements in line with FSSC and ISO requirements.
• Stay informed on competitor activity, pricing strategies, and customer perceptions.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Marketing or Sales Qualification (Degree advantageous).
• Experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the plastics/packaging industry.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for client visits.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and resilient with strong relationship-building skills.
