    Sales Development Consultant - work with tech Startups - R450k/annum OTE

    Description

    Are you looking to be involved in the tech startup scene and fuel the growth of fast growing companies in SA, the UK and US?

    Delta-v’s mission is to accelerate the growth of international tech companies. We build and manage pipeline development teams for some of the world's best startups. We’re based in Claremont, Cape Town, and provide a fun, high energy, team environment to work in.

    This role is an opportunity to become a B2B business development expert and get exposure to the world of FinTech. You’ll play a key role in executing the Go-to-Market strategy of a high growth FinTech SaaS company. We’ll provide you with a world class training programme, the best sales tools and outbound technology.     About the role

    In this role you'll be responsible for identifying and reaching out to target accounts (large enterprise companies), creating highly personalised messaging, engaging key decision makers via phone and email, and qualifying high value opportunities.

    Requirements

    • University degree (in any field)

    • 6 months - 3 years experience in a sales role (ideally involving outbound prospecting)

    • Comfortable reaching out to decision makers across channels such as email, LinkedIn, and phone

    • Excellent verbal and written english communication skills

    • Strong interest in the world of tech

    • High levels of motivation and enthusiasm

    The following skills would be advantageous but are not essential:

    • Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce, Hubspot or Pipedrive

    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator

    • SalesLoft, Outreach or similar
