We’re looking for a self-starter to join us as a Sales Development Intern at our Talent Consultancy. You'll be generating and nurturing sales leads for our subscription-based recruiting model. We're a growing recruitment firm with an innovative business model focussing on digital clients.

Responsibilities

The Sales Development Intern sits in the Growth team of our business. You’ll be working with our marketing and sales leader to develop new business leads. The role will also entail participating in virtual events and being involved in the partner sales environment, speaking directly with end customers, as well as articulating the core benefits of our product to generate sales revenue for us.

Key responsibilities:

• Following up marketing campaigns to qualify leads in an effective manner.
• Profiling target lists to generate opportunities.
• Have a professional telephone manner
• Able to write professionally and understand email best practice.
• Promotion of the business and its key services.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Organised, able to work to tight deadlines.
• Interested in sales best practices.
• Some experience in telesales and lead generation beneficial.
• A keen interest in digital, technology, creative and business.
• The ideal candidate should be a confident team player, with the motivation to work individually as required.

• A basic salary of 8k to 10k pm plus a commission (OTE) of up to 10k-12k rand a month.
