    Sales Development Specialist

    Mission

    Drive the effectiveness of our sales function by taking on the frontline engagement of all inbound leads and moving them through the early stages of our pipeline, as part of a collaborative and supportive sales team. You will work with leads across email and whatsapp/text/messenger channels to provide prompt responses, based on our proven playbook, to move leads along our pipeline and maximise the number of high-quality consultations / demos booked for Business Developers.

    Outcomes


    • Provide leads with a conversion-maximising experience when they engage with us about our products, services or partnerships via email, whatsapp and messenger.

    • Help ensure timely and compelling responses to all leads, affiliates and partners.

    • Actively seek out opportunities to improve our processes and work collaboratively with the sales team to build best-in-class operations.

    Competencies


    • Proficient in MS Office / Google Suite

    • Proficient with Salesforce and/or standard CRMs

    • Proficient with WhatsApp and/or similar messaging tools

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

    • Enjoys working with software and is a quick tech learner

    • Empathetic communicator and enjoys interacting with customers

    • Excellent written communication skills

    • Great at working independently and being self-motivated

    • Highly organised

    • Logical, analytical and methodical

    • Comfortable with receiving critical feedback and has a desire for ongoing improvement

    • Excellent at time management and proactively reaching out for help and coaching

    Background


    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client service role

    • Demonstrated history of hard work

    • Prior experience with case management or CRM software (preferred)
