Sales Engineer

Job Description
- We are seeking a driven and technically strong Sales Engineer to join a leading organisation within the industrial engineering sector.
- This is a field-based role focused on distributor management, technical solution selling, and growing market share within the KwaZulu-Natal region.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve regional revenue and margin targets
- Manage and develop distributor and channel partner relationships
- Conduct regular customer visits (plant, site, and industrial environments)
- Provide technical product and application support to clients
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecasting discipline
- Identify new business opportunities within the region
- Ensure effective CRM usage and reporting
- Deliver professional, solution-based customer engagement
Minimum Requirements
- BSc / BEng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
- 5–8 years’ experience in technical / industrial sales
- Experience in engineered products, rotating equipment, or industrial solutions
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel extensively (±70%)
