Key responsibilities:
Driving sales growth by servicing existing business and securing new business- meeting sales targets
Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
Enhancing market presence through strategic marketing initiatives, negotiation and problem-solving for clients
Ensuring compliance with SHERQ policies and on-site safety requirements
Handling sales administration and reporting
Non-negotiables:
Grade 12 with Maths and Science/Accounting
Diploma/Degree in Engineering with 2+ years in technical sales OR Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing and 5+ years in gas/chemical or related industries
Valid Code 8 driver’s license and own vehicle
Proficient in MS Office with excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Afrikaans
Willingness to travel to service the region (KZN)
Knowledge of welding, heavy equipment, and/or exposure to water and petrochemical business areas
A strongly customer-centric approach with excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
