    Sales Executive, Personal Safety Division Company Name 3M

    To create demand for the 3M Personal Safety Division and grow the supported business in the key markets identified in the strategic plan. This role is to create demand at the end-user level within selected verticals and driving selected portfolios, while pulling the demand through the local and national distributor network. This will be done with leverage from internal support of internal sales, portfolio manager, technical support and all backed up by our national trainer.

    Key job responsibilities:

    • Selling selected range of Personal Protective Equipment in a competent and professional manner
    • Systematic and conscientious coverage of customers in assigned territory, key and target accounts
    • Demonstration of products to prospective customers
    • Presentations to individual or groups on company products and technologies
    • Fully utilize (CRM) on daily basis to perform planning and track progress
    • Submission of weekly planning sheet, weekly summary report, expense claim and call reports of sales activity requiring further action.

    Specific Complexity

    • Technical skills: Can explain benefits in terms of customer needs through practical demonstrations
    • Solution selling experience
    • Key Account Management
    • Strong focus in Health & Safety.
    • Versatile sales person at all levels.
    • Strong communication skills

    Qualification required:

    • A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing
    • EducationIMM or Sales Diploma
    • Valid drivers licence
    • Computer literacy a must (Ms Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Possess and apply advanced analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Apply methodology of process improvement when applicable.
    • Good technical and non-technical communication skills.
    • Interpersonal skills and able to perform effectively in a variety of cross-functional teams situations.
    • Collaborates with Colleagues to innovate, influence, and /or negotiate when required.
