    Sales Executive - South Africa

    • As a Sales professional with Sapiens, you will have the opportunity to make a big impact. You will work with the experienced local team, but your achievements will stand out in the global community.

    Working Model: Remote (within South Africa, ideally within commutable distance to Johannesburg)

    Main Responsibilities:

    You will be responsible for the definition, development, and execution of the sales strategy, as well as the full sales cycle, from initiation to closure.  This will involve but not be limited to:

    • Actively hunting for business development new opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
    • Accurately assessing and qualifying opportunities to ensure sales effort and resource are expended effectively.
    • Undertaking and being accountable for all necessary lead generation activities to drive penetration of target organizations and generate new logo acquisition.
    • Drawing on resources from business development, marketing and partners as needed to achieve this goal.
    • Developing compelling business cases to justify investment in Sapiens’s solutions.
    • Engaging and working confidently with Senior Business management and C-level executives, to progress sales opportunities.
    • Providing weekly forecasts and hereby enable sales management to consolidate accurate projections.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years’ complex software sales experience within the Insurance industry.
    • A passion for penetrating new markets, detecting and leveraging new opportunities, managing sales cycles from initiation up to closure.
    • A proven track record of high-value deals ($5m+) end-to-end management is a must.
    • A solid business understanding of Short-Term (P&C) and/or L&P, including the technology and platforms available.
    • A consultative sales approach.
    • The ability to influence and to build trusted relationships at clients all the way up to C-level executives.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Collaborative, Team player.
    • Experienced in working with large multinational corporates.
    • Lives in South Africa and is able to work without Visa/work permit support.
