Sales Manager - Labels & Packaging at Novus Holdings Ltd

Introduction

• Novus Labels based in Montague Gardens, is a growing labels and packaging business operating state-of-the-art Flexographic, Rotogravure and Sheetfed printing presses. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive new business development and grow existing accounts across our key market sectors. The successful candidate will be an initiative-taker with a proven track record in labels and packaging sales, a deep understanding of labels print and finishing technologies, and the ability to engage at a senior level with major FMCG, beverage, food and retail brands.

Job description

• Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across the labels and packaging sector, with a focus on FMCG, beverages, food, personal care and industrial markets
• Grow and retain an existing portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnership
• Present and promote Novus Labels’ full product offering, including self-adhesive labels, pressure-sensitive labels, wrap-around labels and wet glue paper labels
• Develop a thorough understanding of client briefs and specifications and work closely with the estimating, pre-press and production teams to deliver accurate proposals
• Prepare compelling, market-related pricing proposals in conjunction with the estimating function and National Sales Manager
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client developments to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategy – with a key focus on sustainability
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets and new business budgets

Minimum requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business will be advantageous
• At least 10 Years’ experience in a labels and packaging sales environment is essential
• Proven track record of new business development and account management within the labels and packaging industry. Flexographic and / or Rotogravure sales experience will be an added advantage
