    Sales Manager - Telecommunications

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor telesales representatives to improve performance.
    • Build strong, productive relationships with your team.
    • Create a high-performance culture with incentives, celebrations, and regular communication.
    • Promote continuous improvement to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

    Sales Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
    • Plan, direct, and supervise the activities of your team.
    • Use data and reports to monitor performance, identify improvements, and track trends.

    Performance Monitoring:

    • Set and communicate KPIs to achieve business goals.
    • Align sales strategies with campaign targets to meet objectives.
    • Regularly analyze sales data to find trends and areas for improvement.
    • Review production data and take action where needed.
    • Manage the campaign budget, including staff, incentives, and costs.

    Training and Development:

    • Conduct training to help team members succeed.
    • Work with training to create development plans for agents.
    • Provide one-on-one and group coaching to help team members reach their potential.
    • Analyze trends and implement training solutions to address challenges.

    Collaboration:

    • Work with other teams to align sales efforts with company goals.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Help resolve escalated customer complaints and queries.
    • Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service across all engagements.

    Recruitment:

    • Participate in hiring to build a high-performing telesales team.
    • Manage staffing to meet production needs and increase revenue.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

    • Matric with relevant degree/ diploma advantageous
    • Minimum 3 years sales management experience within the Telecommunications industry 
    • Prior B2B sales experience is advantageous
    • Strong leadership skills with a history of team management and development
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office
    • Able to analyze data and provide actionable insights
    • Results-driven, with a focus on meeting targets
