    Sales Operations Director

    Sales Operations Director

    Purpose:

    The focus for this role is to support the sales team by creating, evaluating and optimising data and sales applications. Interpret and prepare reports and dashboards that will ensure good planning and control in the Sales Team. Ensure the smooth operations of the Sales Organisation by providing world-class support in the preparation of proposals and ultimate conclusion and contracting of sales.

    The role of our Champion:

    • Manage a team that perform the following operational functions:
    • The collection, structure and interpretation of data from multiple sources
    • The preparation of management reports in support of defined meetings and other governance events
    • Collaborate with Finance in the production of Budgets and Forecasts
    • Manage the Pricing process and assist the Sales Teams to produce applicable proposals
    • Manage the contracting process in collaboration with Legal
    • Production of Commission Payment schedules. Interface with HR to ensure timely pay-out of commissions.
    • Set performance targets for the team and manage accordingly.
    • Participate as part of the Sales Leadership team to meet Company Sales Objectives.
    • Provide guidance regarding sales trends and new tools.
    • Lead the development of commercial options for complex, large deals by developing supporting models to evaluate options.
    • Lead the development of automated systems that sets dynamic pricing in order to optimize Sales metrics.
    • The role entails collaboration with different departments and cross functional teams.

    • Sales forecasting accuracy and budgetary planning.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.

    Our Champion's journey thus far:

    • +10 years of relevant business experience, preferably in sales operations in a tech company.
    • Managed a team of at least five people successfully, with a track record of implementing new business processes
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience.
    • Proven experience of being consumer-oriented with a passion for serving others, must work comfortably in a group setting, be self-motivated and inspire the same of their team.
    • High level of comfort with financial modelling and analytical tools.
    • Excellent C-level oral, written, and presentation skills.
    • Be curious, creative, courageous and a champion of the company and our customers
    • Good working knowledge of Sales systems and how they are utilised to run Sales Operations
    • Working in and responding to an environment of rapid change, anticipating, and responding early to organizational needs
    • Able to influence and manage change
