    Sales Representative: New Vehicles - VW Midrand

    About the Role

    • As a Sales Representative for New Vehicles at VW Midrand, you will focus on building client relationships and driving sales for our latest vehicle offerings. You will play a crucial role in connecting customers with vehicles that suit their needs and preferences, ensuring an exceptional purchasing experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences, providing tailored recommendations.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and explain vehicle features, specifications, and benefits to potential buyers.
    • Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VW’s product line and competitor offerings to effectively address customer inquiries.
    • Collaborate with the service and finance teams to ensure a seamless transaction process for customers.
    • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and follow up with potential clients.
    • Attend sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
    • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall performance of the dealership.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on active listening.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships.
    • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience selling high-value products or services, with an emphasis on customer engagement.
    • Knowledge of automotive financing options and trade-in processes.
    • Formal qualifications in sales, marketing, or a related field.
