An established supplier to the hardware retail industry is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative to join its dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, travelling extensively, and identifying new business opportunities.
Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with strong commercial acumen and a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing retail customers.
Grow sales by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Manage customer accounts through regular visits and ongoing support.
Provide product, sales, and promotional assistance to customers.
Analyse customer performance and provide data-driven feedback.
Work closely with contractors to identify project opportunities and convert them into sales.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve business and personal growth objectives.
Minimum Requirements
BCom degree or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification (essential).
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
