    Sales Team Leader – Business Development

    The Sales Team Leader must have own transport and be able to visit customers as and when needed. The Sales Team Leader is responsible for providing daily guidance, reporting and direction to the Sales group to improve revenue and increase sales profitability. He/She collaborates with Customers, internal business groups and direct reports to implement strategies for capturing Middle Market sales opportunities. He/She is directly responsible for the ISE team meeting their business plan. The position reports directly to the Country Sales Manager

    Key Accountabilities

    • To position entire portfolio of company products, services and technology to achieve business results
    • Setting up SOP’s as well as monitoring/supporting customer technology set up and reporting
    • Manage business plan and establish accomplishments for each individual Sales Executives
    • Assists the team in carrying out investigations and resolutions to customer inquiries & complaints
    • Actively share information with the team on market trends, sales leads and competitive products
    • Maintain and regularly monitors performance level of the team in order to establish necessary guidance and building of competitive knowledge.
    • Carry out regular assessments to allSales Executives to efficiently handle customer expectation
    • Maintains a standard accurate information inDRIVE and other related UPS databases, creates and implements business strategy towards making an overall sales impact
    • Responsible for maintaining team morale and individual developmental improvement
    • Ensures thatISE sales targets are met
    • Handles disciplinary issues
    • Contribute towards the maintenance of Quality Assurance Standards & initiatives throughout the company
    • Provides business reports as required by the management

    Education and Work Experience

    • South African residency is a must.
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Min of 2 years proven sales experience in our industry
    • 2-4 years proven experience in handling a team, and driving growth results, in our industry
    • Strategic planning skills
    • Excellent communication, planning & negotiation skills
    • Good financial understanding
    • Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint being a must
