SAP ABAP Developer at Vistex

The SAP ABAP Developer will provide technical consulting for implementation of Vistex solutions. The individual will also be responsible for developing any customer specific enhancements and writing custom code and executing any tests related to these developments. Must be willing and committed to learning the Vistex product and deliver per project timelines. Knowledge of SAP business processes would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation/upgrade/support projects as Development Consultant/Subject Matter Expert
• ABAP development objects and coordination with remote development team.
• Further, Liaising with Project Manager for tracking
• Ability to set up the development guidelines and methodologies
• Supporting an onsite consulting team of experts for all relevant aspects of development work, and coordination with remote development teams. Expected to take some lead positions in the project and also capable of performing technical activities beyond coding.
• Building trust and acting as trusted adviser to the customer. Manage customer expectations and avoid any escalations. Ability to comprehend and envisage appropriate actions.
• Participate in practice initiatives, showing innovation, sharing knowledge, enhancing reusability, conducting webinars at global level and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Solid BADI and BAPI working experience.
• Experience participating on projects.

Qualifications

• ABAP Technical Consultant with 3 + years' experience in SAP ABAP
• Excellent analytical skills, client handling skills
• Expert in understanding business requirements to convert them to efficient technical specifications tailored to the client’s needs
• Efficient in work estimation & scheduling the work with development team
