Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled Principal ABAP Object-Oriented Developer to join our team for a specialised SAP development project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP development, software architecture, and business process analysis, with a strong focus on ABAP object-oriented programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to determine configuration, programming, reporting, interface, security, and role-based access needs.
• Develop and enhance SAP modules using ABAP Object-Oriented programming.
• Perform testing and debugging of SAP programs to ensure system functionality and performance.
• Design and implement software architecture solutions in SAP.
• Develop oData services to support seamless integration within the SAP environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements:

• Developer-specific SAP Certification for all levels.
• 8+ years of SAP development experience, with a strong focus on ABAP Object-Oriented programming.

Core Skills:

• Expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Proficiency in oData services development.
• Strong debugging and testing skills within SAP environments.
• Experience in SAP software architecture, design, and development.
• Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Other Desirable Skills:

• Prior experience in Local Government projects would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of SAP interfaces, reports, security, and role management.
