SAP Data Lead at Salt South Africa

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategy and operational demands, translating them into data-driven SAP solutions.
• Develop and maintain Enterprise and Data Solution Roadmaps for Group, Divisions, and Operating Entities.
• Lead the design and governance of enterprise data programs, ensuring alignment with solution standards to deliver business value and mitigate implementation risks.
• Oversee and govern data solution design across interconnected programs and projects, connecting enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Assume authority in the Design and Build phases of key projects, ensuring robust data architecture and integration strategies.
• Provide strategic data insights and governance for the roll-in of Aspen French and German operations onto the SAP group platform.
• Serve as a senior consultant with strong SAP and business process knowledge across multiple SAP modules, particularly in data management.
• Focus on solution and business design rather than technical execution, offering strategic oversight and governance.

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive experience as an SAP Data Lead, Solution Architect, or Senior Consultant.
• Strong understanding of SAP Data Migration, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Governance frameworks.
• Expertise in designing data solutions for large-scale enterprise transformations.
• Knowledge of SAP data models and integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Proven track record in data strategy development, solution architecture, and risk management.
• Experience with S/4HANA is highly advantageous.
• Ability to manage and lead solution design, connecting enterprise programs and ensuring seamless data integration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering business value through data.
