SAP SD and SAP MM – K5 Consultants at Salt South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategy and operational demands, translating them into effective SAP solutions.
• Create and maintain Enterprise and Solution Roadmaps for Group, Divisions, and Operating Entities.
• Design and govern Programs for enterprise transformation, ensuring alignment with solution standards to deliver business value while managing risks.
• Oversee and govern Solution Design across interconnected programs and projects.
• Provide leadership and authority during Design and Build phases of key projects, such as the roll-in of Aspen French and German operations onto the group’s SAP platform.
• Act as a strategic advisor, offering expertise in SAP best practices and business process optimization across modules.

Position 1: SAP MM Solution Architect / SME

Key Focus Areas:

• Materials Management (MM) including Procurement, Inventory, and Vendor Management processes.
• Strong understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) business processes and integration with other SAP modules.
• Participate in the solution design for supply chain functions, material master data governance, and procurement optimization.
• Support configuration decisions and provide business input on plant, storage location, and vendor setup.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Extensive experience in SAP MM as a Solution Architect or Senior Functional Consultant.
• Strong business process knowledge in procurement, inventory management, and vendor processes.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA implementations is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in enterprise-level rollouts and SAP governance frameworks.

Position 2: SAP SD Solution Architect / SME

Key Focus Areas:

• Sales and Distribution (SD) with expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Provide strategic guidance for the customer order processing, pricing, billing, and distribution functions.
• Collaborate with the business to design solutions for sales operations, customer invoicing, and contract management.
• Define best practices for customer master data governance and manage SD-related solution risks.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Extensive experience in SAP SD as a Solution Architect or Senior Functional Consultant.
• In-depth understanding of sales operations, billing, and distribution processes.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA implementations is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in enterprise-level rollouts and SAP governance frameworks.
