    SAP Support Analyst

    KEY DUTIES:

    • Provide day-to-day support for SAP issues that affect the daily operations of the business.
    • Resolve level 1 support issues in a timely manner and assign more complex issues to the relevantly parties.
    • Work with users to understand new or existing SAP issues, prioritise and help address in timely manner.
    • Proactively identify problematic issues (masterdata or business processes) and work with the necessary party to  resolve such issues.
    • Analyse the current business processes and explore ways IT can contribute to improving these processes.
    • Follow up with users to ensure correct business processes are followed.
    • Participate in the testing of system developments where required.
    • Ability to think issues through in a logical, systematic way.
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Strong Administrative skills including high attention to detail.
    • Ensure training documentation and assessments are aligned with current business processes.
    • Create additional training material where required.
    • Identify and perform training to individuals or small groups.
    • Able to adapt to change quickly and effectively.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor of Commerce - Information Systems or Bachelor of Business Science - Computer Science/Information Systems
    • SAP certification not required but advantageous.
    • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a system support / analyst role.
    • Experience in problem solving skills and root cause analysis - identify problems, explore, analyse,  formulate solutions.
    • Be highly computer literate (specifically Excel).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed) and travel.
    • Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
    • Able to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
    • Confident and independent person who is a fast learner.
    • Be enthusiastic, positive, motivated and self-energised .
    • Ability to establish effective business relationships with all levels within the organisation.
    • Professional, high degree of diplomacy and business acumen. 
    • Being a team player.
