SCADA Technician- Port Elizabeth (South Africa) at Vestas

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of SCADA systems; configuration of SCADA Servers, communications and automation equipment
• High level support to internal and external stakeholders during Construction and Service phase
• Development of additional features upon client's request
• Programming PLC. (Rockwell)
• Keep track of SCADA system status and update as-built documentation
• Support External partners on SCADA activities

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, in Automation, Computer Engineering, Industrial Process Control IT, Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience in commissioning and maintenance of SCADA platforms
• Previous experience in PLC programming (preferably Rockwell AB PLC)
• Experience on communication protocols (OPC,MODBUS,IEC,104, IEC101, DNP3 )
• Virtual Machines operational environment (VMWare, ESXi), MS Windows and SQL server knowledge
• Networking/Cisco experience, installation and communications
• Industrial electricity and electronics knowledge
• Fluent English spoken and written
• Driver license
• Travel availability
