    Scala Engineer

    You will be: 

    • Developing and monitoring tools for system fault detection.  
    • Developing software in a continuous deployment environment. 
    • Providing feedback to various/ relevant stakeholders to ensure high quality outcomes.
    • Providing 3rd line application supports. 

    You will need:

    • Understanding and experience in Scala and a JVM environment. 
    • Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. 
    • Experience in developing HTTP - based API's and implementing RESTful services. 
    • Experience with PUSH technologies - Example Akka, Web Sockets, SIgnal IR.
    • Comunication technologies - and message queries. 
    • Working experience with UI frameworks. 

    Advantageous experience: 

    • Cloud technologies - AWS, GCP or Azure 
    • Understanding concurrency or distributed systems.
