Scale Operator - Wellington Distillery at The Heineken Company

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

• Operate the weighbridge.
• Weighing of all incoming and outgoing loads.
• Ensure that all Spirits samples have the necessary Paperwork and that each sample is supplied with the correct label.
• Ensure that all the relevant SAP transactions in terms of Dispatching Spirits are done on time.
• Ensure that all trucks are supplied with relevant paperwork.
• Complete truck seal register on Teams and assist with monthly stock take.
• Assist Cellar team with daily operational duties.
• Completion of “Bulk Transport Evaluation Forms”.
• Coordinate intake of programs and ensures that it is completed according to schedule.
• Keep records of all documentation handled.
• Pull monthly report for departments
• Proper housekeeping regarding scale housing.
• Assistance in Lab (lab samples)
• Tasting Panel member
• Participate in TPM activities

The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Proven Admin experience
• Experience in customs and excise documentation will be an advantage
• Computer literacy in Massamatic Program, SAP, MS Office Suite
• Valid code EB drivers license and own reliable transport
• Willingness to work irregular hours and overtime when required
• Must be a Team Player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Punctuality and attendance reliability
