Job Description

Responsible for ensuring applicable processes are complied with accurately, concisely, timely and according to standard operating procedures between Palletizing and Warehousing Departments.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 Equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience in a FMCG/ manufacturing environment desirable.
• Basic computer literacy.
• A willingness to work shifts and overtime, incl. on Saturdays where required.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring you have the correct product for verification and verify final product to quantities.
• Apply GFC inventory control of stock holding, stock and paperwork accuracy.
• Void failed labels by verifying failed label books on a daily basis.
• Coordinate and control daily stock counts of open palettes as per GFC policy.
• Use control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
• Ensure continuous inventory flow to the warehouse according to GFC standards.
• To liaise with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure quality service and products.
• To complete all compulsory training interventions allocated by direct manager successfully.
• Any other duties as may be required by management.
