    Scheme Risk and Administration Manager - (502) - Selby

    PURPOSE

    • The main purpose of the Scheme Risk and Administration Manager is twofold: Risk Management and the Administration of the Members for the TCIB Scheme. Risk Management Drive sustainable business value for an organisation and the TCIB Scheme by managing the strategic and operational elements of the Risk Management functions: 
    • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) 
    • Business Continuity Management (BCM) Member Administration

    To ensure that the Risk and Compliance Officer implements an effective compliance framework and processes and complies with all applicable laws and binding regulations specifically to 

    • The TCIB Scheme Constitution 
    • TCIB Rulebook 
    • SADC Banking Association
    • SADC PSOC requirements 

    You will engage with the following stakeholders:

    External 

    • TCIB Participant Forum
    • Relevant TCIB Forum Sub-committees
    • SADC Regulators and PSOC (Payment System Oversight Committee)
    • Scheme Stakeholders (SADC BA, SADC RTGS etc.)  

    Internal

    • Chief Executive Officer
    • Senior Management
    • Middle management
    • Risk Executive Committee
    • All Legal & Governance team members
    • Shared Services Management

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • BankservAfrica as the TCIB Scheme Manager is responsible for the overall administration and management of TCIB Scheme this includes to ensure: the development and maintenance of interoperability rulebook and participant access criteria, oversees and manage participant conduct, ongoing scheme risk analysis and management and all the underlying functions to promote sound risk and good conduct and use

    The position will actively run the industry risk functions of the scheme and the member administration

    QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE

    • Degree in Risk Management or an equivalent - Highest level of education: B-Com Honours Microsoft suite

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 4 -5 years’ experience in risk management - +/- 3 years risk experience (Risk Champion, Risk Coordinator,
    • Risk Specialist) - Experience in enterprise risk management and business continuity management
