Scraper Winch Operator at Anglo American

Job Description:

• Effective panel cleaning and support
• Ensure high standard safety in pane.
• Ensure that a blast in the next shift can take place
• Operation of all mechanical equipment in panel and gully to box hole.
• Support the measurement of mining activities.
• Support efforts to overcome operational problems in panel
• Identify risks and threats to the process
• Help in-stope logistics to maintain equipment
• This role is in the Mining Department at a B2 level reporting to the Mining Team Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Grade 10 Numeracy and Literacy.
• Grade 12 certificate will be advantageous
• Passed scraper winch training module.
• Passed basic Panel assistance maintenance course
• Mechanical / Technical Aptitude
• Competent B

Experience:

• At least 6 months experience as Scraper winch Operator.
