Our client, a well-established leader in the South African retail and services space is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to help lead their Agile transformation and drive delivery excellence across dynamic cross-functional teams. Minimum Requirements:
5 - 10 years Experience in a Scrum Master role.
Familiarity with Software Development environment and Project Management background.
Have successfully implemented Agile implementation for teams and conducted PI planning workshops.
Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban).
Scrum Master Certification mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
Hands on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
Description:
Helping software development teams apply the Scrum framework.
The Scrum Master keeps the team organised and on track by hosting daily Stand-up meetings, Sprint Planning meetings, Sprint Reviews, Retrospective etc.
Planning deliverables and helping teams monitor performance.
Resolving issues that hinder the teams work, resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
Help teams implement changes effectively.
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity.
The Scrum Master hosts daily team meetings to get updates on the progress of the Project, address potential roadblocks, and ensure that the Project is on track.
Host regular sessions to share updates with product stakeholders about how the Project is progressing (or not).
Ensure that the team is meeting deadlines with the desired outcome.
Send timeous reports to the stakeholders and engage with all parties and keep everyone informed with progress updates.
Must be capable to manage 3 or more teams simultaneously.
