Section Engineer at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join their mining company based in the Free State. You will be responsible for overseeing maintenance, operations, and compliance within your area, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to optimise equipment uptime and performance.
• Monitor, inspect, and troubleshoot plant and instrumentation systems, providing technical guidance where required.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, task analyses, and investigations into incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Support project execution, including Capex planning, resource allocation, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and communicate operational findings to teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• GCC Mines & Works
• 3 years' experience as an Engineer post-GCC
• Registered with ECSA or AMRE (Advantageous)
• Valid Driver's License
