Security Systems Technician at West Coast Personnel

• An established security services business is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Security Systems Technician to join its team in Hout Bay.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining alarm and CCTV systems while providing professional, reliable service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and test alarm and CCTV systems.
• Service and maintain existing security systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and system testing.
• Ensure all equipment operates reliably and according to the required standards.
• Complete installation, maintenance and service reports accurately.
• Explain system operation and basic troubleshooting procedures to customers.
• Deliver professional and customer-focused service.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company resources responsibly.
• Adhere to safety procedures and security industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing and servicing alarm systems.
• Practical experience with CCTV installation and monitoring systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• PSIRA registration is required; Grade C is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Own reliable vehicle.
• Must preferably reside in Hout Bay or the surrounding area.
• Able to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
