Security Training Officer at Oza Holdings

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the rendering of security service delivery in line with SOPs.
• Ensuring compliance and that all security officers meet contractual requirements as stipulated by the organisation.
• Identification and rectification of service shortcomings and advising on solutions to remedy these.
• Constantly evaluating the service levels provided by the officers at all our mining operations and making rectifications and training until understood, to improve service delivery.
• General management and supervision of security staff and operations.
• Oversee the inspections of K9s and firearms.
• Assist with investigations and information gathering.
• Upholding of master compliance files and ensuring document levels are upheld at all sites.
• Conducting basic monthly audits on all activities at the access points.
• Be the safety representative for the security department, ensuring that all safety aspects are complied with.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have PSIRA Security grades.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Tools).
• 3 years of security experience.
• Able to communicate well.
• Detail-oriented.
• Facilitation/ training skills.
• Must have a passion for teaching.
