Semi-skilled Fitter at Tsebo Solution

• Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Semi SkilledFitter to support the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems, including pumps, pipework, hydraulics, pneumatics and HVAC. Ensure work meets safety standards, legislation and Tsebo procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities    
Maintenance & Repairs

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment using approved tools and methods.
• Install and assemble pipes, fittings and mechanical components.
• Perform welding, brazing, soldering and threading as required.
• Test and inspect systems using pressure or hydrostatic testing.
• Read and work from mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Replace worn parts and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Complete job cards and provide progress feedback.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and SOPs.
• Inspect work areas for hazards and structural risks.
• Maintain and store tools, materials and PPE correctly.
• Complete inspection registers and job documentation.
• Assist clients with requests and resolve technical queries.
• Supervise contractors or juniors when required.
• Follow Tsebo SHEQ procedures and uphold ethical standards.

• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Qualifications    

• N3 Mechanical Engineering + completed apprenticeship.
• Trade Tested Fitter.
• At least 3 years’ experience in fitting/welding, including pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC and pipe repairs
