Senior Analyst CIB Client Static at Absa Group Limited (Absa)

Key Responsibilities:

Client Data Management:

• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and updates of CIB client records in the master system(s) and related sub-systems.
• Ensure all client data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
• Perform regular audits and data quality checks to maintain data integrity.

Client Onboarding Support:

• Collaborate with the Client Onboarding Team to facilitate the smooth onboarding of new clients.
• Provide expert support in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to client static data.

System and Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for improving data management processes and systems.
• Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to implement system enhancements and process improvements.

CIB Product Knowledge and Payments:

• Utilize your understanding of CIB products, particularly in payments, to ensure client data aligns with the specific needs and requirements of the business.
• Act as a subject matter expert on CIB client static data and payments, providing guidance and support to colleagues across the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Compliance, Risk, and IT, to ensure client data requirements are met.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of client data and any related initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NQF5
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of CIB products and experience with payments processing.
• Proven experience in client data management, onboarding, and system maintenance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant data management tools and systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
